Ryan International Green School, Kannur Campus

Ryan International Green School is a young and innovative institution in Kannur, focusing on student-centered, up-to-date, technology-based learning. Our philosophy is based on the unique combination of key principles of the best education systems in the world. Among others, we believe in “How to learn’ instead of ‘what to learn” and “Manners before knowledge” approaches, project-based learning and the daily positive reinforcement. We believe that children’s lives change when their natural passion for learning is nurtured and transformed into habits of life-long learning and reflection.

Our Pre-school follows a Montessori method that implies thorough usage of variety of educational materials, following a Montessori curriculum, “learning by doing” and developing ability to learn independently in a “homelike” environment. Ryan school offers to its preschool and primary school students a unique experience of an exposure to the international education with teachers and instructors from abroad. We offer interactive and exciting English Lab sessions to all the grades and planning to add other languages such as French in the coming term.

The Ryan school is also famous for its Robotics and Artificial Intelligence lab (ALR Lab), that conducts hands-on classes and workshops for students on coding and creating robots and different machines, understanding and using censors, where students from the very early age are exposed to the world of technology not only as users but as its creators and developers.

The school’s curriculum is based on the CBSE board, however, quite a few extracurricular activities and subjects are an addition to it. We enjoy regular field trips to factories, national parks, and other interesting destinations, and also karate, outdoor sports, arts, and debates on different topics are part of our students’ school life.

In a view of the recent situation in the world, we are adjusting our teaching system to the online format and will be happy to be with you throughout these challenging times as well!

2.5 to 3.5 Years

M1 Level - Activities offered are designed to sharpen their sensorial skills, they then get settled in the new environment, takes care of one’s self and society.Children also gain freedom and independence and develop interest towards choosing and doing other advanced activities.

3.5 to 4.5 Years

M2 Level - They perform Maths language, Geography, Zoology, Botany and Geometry activities. As and when the Children are ready with writing skills, we offer them pencil and paper activities.Timely worksheets are given to check the comprehension level of student.

4 to 5 Years

M3 level - is equivalent to UKG in the traditional schools. Children making the transition to traditional schools find it difficult to adjust to the same age group of students, the heavy bags, the amount of home-task given, etc. However they understand and grasp concepts faster when compared to traditional school counterparts.

Grade 1 to 6

The primary section from Grade I-VI follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).The School is a centre of excellence offering systematic and innovative learning experience with a unique combination of both Indian and international perspectives. Ryan redefines education beyond mere classroom interaction.
